Verify with a simple known problem: 120 km covered in 2 hours should give 60 km/h. In m/s that is 16.67 m/s (60 / 3.6), and in mph that is approximately 37.28 mph (60 / 1.60934). Test the distance mode by entering 100 km/h for 3 hours and confirming the result is 300 km. Test the time mode by entering 500 km at 100 km/h and confirming the result is 5 hours. If any result looks wrong, check that you entered time in hours (not minutes) — a 30-minute trip should be entered as 0.5 hours.
